Why is my map not loading in the User Interface?

Although every effort has gone into ensuring the User Interface compatibility, it is not fully compatible with all browsers. If you are using an incompatible browser it may cause the map page to freeze before loading. Browser incompatibility can also prevent .zip files from being downloaded from the User Interface. If you have this problem, right-click the .zip file, select "save as" and save to an appropriate location. This should enable you to view the file.

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
  • Mozilla Firefox 2
  • Mozilla Firefox 3
  • Apple Safari

Later versions of Internet Explorer 

The UI has not been tested in Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) or later and we do not officially support these browsers. However, most users have reported that they can use the UI under IE8 or later if they apply the configuration change described in the IE8 page of the User Interface manual .

Limitations of Internet Explorer 6

Whilst the UI has been developed to run on Internet Explorer 6 it is worth noting that some features of the Graphics page are not available on this particular browser. Internet Explorer 6 users should also expect the UI to run slower than when using one of the more recent browsers.
